About Me

My love for photography began in high school when I received my first camera and discovered how powerful it could be to preserve a moment. That passion grew through college, world travel, and years of professional experience.

From the fast-paced world of photojournalism in Washington, D.C. to two unforgettable years in Senegal with the Peace Corps, photography has always been my way of connecting with people and telling authentic stories. Along the way, I've illustrated children's books, raised three wonderful sons, taught photography, and continued to refine my photography skills.

Today, as a freelance photographer, I bring all of these experiences to every session. My goal is to create warm, heartfelt images that capture the genuine connections, milestones, and moments you'll treasure for years to come.
